Who are the team behind HeadStrong?

The clinical team behind HeadStrong bring together a diverse and well-experienced set of skills:

Dr. Elkhonon Goldberg

Clinical Professor at the Department of Neurology, New York University School of Medicine. Present positions include:Clinical Professor, Department of Neurology, New York University School of Medicine Lecturer, Department of Psychiatry, Columbia University, New York Adjunct Professor, Department of Psychiatry Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York Director, Institute of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Performance, New York.

 

The concept of a Cognitive Fitness Centre was created and pioneered by Doctor Elkhonon Goldberg, who lives and works in New York City. A globally recognised authority, scientist, author and Professor of Neuropsychology at New York University, Dr. Golderg is a founding partner, advisor and shareholder in HeadStrong.


Dr Suzy Green
BA (Hons) D. Psychology
Dr Green is a consultant in Clinical Psychology providing positive psychology and coaching from an evidence based perspective.  She has an extensive clinical consultancy, publications and research in psychology and contributes to the HeadStrong mental health programme.

 

Nicola Gates
BA (Hons), MPhil (Psychology), MPsych. (Clinical Neuropsychology). 
Managing Director of HeadStrong and is leading the development of the HeadStrong product range.  Nicola is a practicing Clinical Neuropsychologist with 13 years experience working in the rehabilitation of acquired brain injury.

 

Susie Burrell
B.Sc (psych) B. Nutr& Diet (Hons)
Susie Burrell is a dietitian with an Honours degree in psychology. Susie works primarily in the area of “Positive Nutrition”, which is looking for ways to improve health and well being simply by eating better, and contributes to the HeadStrong diet and physical health programe. Susie has a regular column published in The Daily Telegraph’s monthly Simply Food, and is a Consultant at large metropolitan hospitals.
